Thank you very much for your passionate support of Cycle for Life and the Cancer Centers at Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children. Cycle for Life was launched in 1996 by a few very dedicated patients, families, and physicians to give back to the pediatric cancer program at Floating Hospital for Children. Over the past 20 years, more than $2 million has been raised to support these important programs.
While the event location, the courses, the sponsorships and the participants may have changed, one thing remained the same – the support of individuals like you. We appreciate the devotion and participation you have so enthusiastically brought to the event.
Unfortunately, the production expenses necessary to support a safe and secure cycle event of such scope have escalated dramatically over the past five years. As responsible stewards of fundraising to support patient care programs, we have made the decision after 20 remarkable years to retire Cycle for Life. We will continue to explore and evaluate important community-based opportunities to build fundraising efforts in support of children and adults facing cancer treatment at Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children, and we hope that we can count on you once again to support our future events.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact the Events Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you again for your dedication and unwavering support of our cancer programs and the patients at Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children.
