Directions to the Cycle for Life Start

Devereux Beach, Ocean Avenue, Marblehead, MA: 

FROM Boston & South:

• Take the Ted Williams Tunnel North to Route 1A
• Follow 1A through Lynn on the Lynnway
• Route 1A and Route 129 East merge and then follow
• Route 129 East toward Swampscott/Marblehead
• Follow Route 129 East into Marblehead (also known as Atlantic Avenue)
• Approximately 1.5 - 2 miles into Marblehead take a right at the lights on Ocean Avenue
• Continue on Ocean Avenue to the beach.

FROM the West:

• Take 95/128 North toward Gloucester
• Continue on 128 toward Gloucester after 95 splits off
• Take exit 25 Salem/Marblehead
• Follow signs to Route 114 East/South toward Marblehead
• Andover Street runs into Gardner Street and then follow North Street (Route 114 East)
• Follow North Street staying on 114 as it becomes Washington Street then it becomes New Derby Street and then Lafayette Street (in Salem)
• Continue on 114 passing Salem State College on your right.
• In Marblehead, 114 becomes Pleasant Street
• Turn right on to Ocean Avenue follow to end at the beach.
